GMYN Introduction to Youth Work Training programme

Introduction to Youth Work (ItYW) is a six-session training programme that will develop your understanding and skills relating to youth work.

Each session provides an introduction to a different aspect of youth work including both theoretical and practical applications in a range of youth work settings. You are welcome to attend as many sessions as you choose.

We spend a lot of time on planning our supporter journeys, but not a lot of time on the content. This course will go through a tried and tested formula of how you can consistently create 'wow' moments for supporters (across all types of fundraising) that inspire, connect and make people feel great about giving.

If you would like to build on your existing skills and think about new ways to tell stories, this course is for you.

This course is aimed at anyone in a Manchester voluntary and community sector group who would like to increase their skills and use of storytelling in their work. This could mean telling the story of your service users, volunteers or your organisation.
