Manchester City Council and partners are proud to launch a new funding programme for voluntary and community sector organisations.

Councillor Sue Murphy, Deputy Leader and lead Member for the voluntary and community sector, will introduce the session.

As part of an initiative in West Yorkshire, The Children’s Society have been looking at how Gypsy, Roma and Traveller communities can keep their young people safe from child sexual exploitation. The Children's Society

It explored the barriers to engagement through traditional agencies and support systems and examined what was needed to ensure that young people from these communities, their parents and carers were aware and informed.

The Manchester Sleepout 2017

Each year The Booth Centre invites people to take on the challenge of sleeping out to highlight some of the hardships that homeless people have to face every single night. Manchester Sleepout 2017

Hundreds of people will be joining this great event and raising vital funds to help homeless people in our community.

Participants are asked to pay a small registration fee and raise £150.00 towards the work of the Booth Centre.
