The Beacon Centre needs £20,000 to provide life-enhancing community services to residents in East Manchester

donateThe Beacon Centre is a disused council owned building in the heart of Clayton in East Manchester, formerly known as the Barrington Community Centre.

A group of local people have established a new charity and are looking to re-open the centre as a community-led resource through a community asset transfer.

Participation opportunity – Gambling harm

gambling with livesGambling with Lives would like to speak to people based in Greater Manchester with experience of  harm from gambling, including close family and partners affected by it.

They are running a focus group on 25 November at 5.30pm for around two hours via Zoom. Participants will receive £60 as a thank you and play a valuable role in improving things for all people affected by gambling disorder.
