Would you like to learn skills to help you thrive in later life?
Are you approaching retirement with worries about the future?
Perhaps you recently retired and are struggling to adjust.
Or maybe you’d rather just like to get more from your life.
Then this course is for you.

The course is taking place on Tuesdays 2pm-4.30pm starting on Tuesday 7 November finishing on 12 December at Parkfield Court, 38-40 Barlow Moor Road, Didsbury, Manchester, M20 2GE

Comic Relief – Active ageing: creating change in communities grants

Comic Relief have launched a £1.5 million fund to engage older people aged 65 and over from ‘harder to reach’ groups to get involved in opportunities which use their skills, knowledge and experience to contribute to their communities. Comic Relief are looking for proposals which put older people at the centre of the work, designing and developing activities or opportunities which meet their needs, interests and priorities. Generations Together Manifesto

Age Friendly Manchester is developing a Generations Together Manifesto. This is all about creating a set of key actions that Council and other organisations can use in their work bringing older and younger people together. Age Friendly Manchester have some early ideas of what could be in the manifesto. These have come from a two day Intergenerational symposium that they held last October at the Coop.
