Justin has a wealth of experience in the third sector with substantial experience in building local and national programmes of work, most recently in his role as Head of Programme Development at Oxfam GB.
Young Manchester has collaborated with JD Sports fashion PLC to search for Manchester’s most talented young people.
JD X Young Manchester will give young Mancunians, living within Manchester’s 32 wards, a platform to showcase their talents, whether they are a singer, artist, budding entrepreneur or gardener.
Young Manchester are pleased to announce a new fund for the city - the Positive Engagement Programme.
Are you unemployed? Are you 19 years or over? Want to do something different with your life? Do you want someone to actually listen to you? 
Students will leave Xaverian College with the academic skills needed to pursue their chosen career. However it is the practical, hands-on skills that can only be learnt on the job that the students seek, in order to help them to excel. 
Could you offer a student some relevant and constructive work experience?
The Manchester Safeguarding Boards (MSB) comprises the Manchester Safeguarding Adults Board (MSAB) and the Manchester Safeguarding Children Boards (MSCB). The Boards share an Independent Chair, Julia Stephens-Row; and are supported by the MSB Business Unit. 
I went to Young Manchester’s Welcome Event a couple of evenings ago held at HOME. It was a positive and celebratory event with performances by a number of young people including beat boxing, singing and dancing, as well as the usual heartfelt speeches, the best of which (sorry to other speakers) was one by Saeed Atcha, founder of the magazine Xplode (an invitee to the royal wedding!). He is definitely one to watch.

Manchester's Early Help Strategy is being refreshed in 2018 - what do you think the future should look like?
This initiative will invest in projects that are using sport to improve the lives of young people without a safe or secure place to live, helping them to gain the skills and resources to lead safe and positive lives. Comic Relief will consider work that supports children and young people aged up to and including 25. Comic Relief will also consider family-based interventions where the majority of beneficiaries are under 25. 
Manchester City Council is leading the city’s arrangements to mark the anniversary of the Manchester Arena attack on Tuesday 22 May 2018. 
Those affected by those terrible events will want to mark the date in different ways, so the programme is varied and takes different forms, to make sure that people can feel connected to it.
