Hideout Youth Zone are looking for Volunteer Sports Youth Workers to help deliver an exciting program of physical activities, building confidence, social skills and overall wellbeing through their sports offerings.

 

What can you expect to be doing?

  • Helping deliver a wide range of sports offerings including football, basketball, badminton, rugby, trampolining, cricket and much more
  • Motivating young people to participate in individual and team sports
  • Building positive relationships with young people across the youth zone 
  • Working collaboratively with the Sports Coordinator and other members of staff to support the delivery of sessions (and if you're confident enough, to lead!)
  • Supporting young people with additional needs
  • Acting as a positive role model for young people
  • Promoting an inclusive culture where all young people are listened to, valued and cared for
