The Escape to Safety multimedia exhibition provides participants with an experience of what it is like to be a refugee / asylum seeker leaving their home country and embarking on a journey to find safety in Britain.
Participants are provided with an experience that challenges them to re-think their assumptions and perceptions of refugees, asylum seekers and migrants.
The exhibition enables schools and communities to explore complex and controversial diversity issues in an exciting and experiential way.
The exhibition has been arranged by City of Sanctuary Manchester, part of a national network trying to create a culture of welcome in towns and cities for those seeking sanctuary.
