The 2014 Manchester Sleepout - Are you up for the challenge?

3 Oct 2014 - 11:26 by michelle.foster

For one night only The Booth Centre are sleeping out to highlight some of the hardships that homeless people have to face every single night. You are invited to join the Booth Centre to raise vital funds for the Booth Centre, a charity that provides activities, advice and support to homeless people in Manchester.

Last year, participants helped to raise an incredible £60,000! In March this year the Booth Centre moved from running the centre in a small room in Manchester Cathedral to a fantastic new building on Pimblett Street, a 5 minute walk from Victoria Station.

Here's a short film where some of the people who use the centre talk about the great things the Booth Centre can do in their new building and share some of the ways the centre has helped them.

This year they are hoping to raise even more funds to enable them to continue to support people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.

Join the #McrSleepout today!

The Sleeout is taking place on Friday 7 November 2014 at 8pm at Manchester Cathedral.
