Following the first round of neighbourhood funding Adactus have supported or pledged to support 75 projects across Manchester, Trafford and Cheshire totaling £78,000 in 2013/14. The fund is judged by Adactus residents and they have £9,000 still available for community projects.
Projects supported so far this year include funding for events provided by residents’ associations; support for community allotments and gardens and support costs for community groups.
For this round, to ensure that the money benefits as many projects as possible the maximum amount allocated for any project will be £1,000. The fund is open for projects in Manchester, Trafford and Cheshire where Adactus have properties.
The fund is available to support small scale community projects that will improve the quality of life for Adactus Group residents and make a real difference to the neighbourhoods where Adactus Group residents live.
Individuals, resident groups, community groups, charitable organisations or social enterprises working in areas where the Adactus Group manages homes can apply.
All projects awarded funding must be delivered by 31 March 2014.
