Be 1 of 25 by sharing your Spirit of Manchester Story

31 Jul 2018 - 15:41 by michelle.foster

Are you a Manchester voluntary sector organisation?

Would you like to share a story of your activity as part of the 2018 Spirit of Manchester Story Week in September?

Spirit of Manchester Story Week is a great way of celebrating the extraordinary everyday work of the Manchester voluntary, community and social enterprise sector. Now in its third year, the Story Weeks have captured over 60 stories which included a community café, a befriending scheme, working with children, and distributing food to people and communities across the city. These were shared widely on social media including by supporters such as Manchester City Council and the Clinical Commissioning Group.

In Manchester, there are over 3,000 voluntary sector organisations providing a wide range of services across the city and we would like your involvement in showcasing the impact we have on our communities. We will be recording one activity from a range of VCSE organisations over the space of a week (24-28 September) which will show the diversity and dedication of the sector in meeting the needs of our city. We will then publicise this information via our website and bulletins, and on social media using the hashtag #SpiritofMcrStory.

If you would like to be part of this exciting project, please contact Helen at [email protected] or call 0161 834 9823.
