Big Alcohol Conversation – financial support available

18 Oct 2018 - 12:55 by michelle.foster

Would your organisation like to help Greater Manchester talk about alcohol?
Financial support is available to voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations who can help engage with local people on the topic of alcohol.

Big Alcohol ConversationAlcohol has a huge impact on the health of individuals, communities and health services across our city region. Between November 2018 and February 2019 Greater Manchester hopes to engage thousands of people from across the city region to increase understanding of this impact. Greater Manchester needs to talk.

VCSE organisations that are willing to help can do so in a number of ways including completion of online surveys, engaging in one-to-one conversations and also holding a focus group.

The Big Alcohol Conversation kicks off in mid-November 2018 and lasts until February 2019. You don't need to have particular knowledge or expertise on the topic of alcohol, we will provide materials which will guide the conversation every step of the way. You just need to have an interest in supporting Greater Manchester’s Big Alcohol Conversation.
