Caritas Care and National Adoption Week 16 – 22 October

As in previous years, the need to find families for some of our most vulnerable children remains at the heart of this year’s National Adoption Week. This year focuses on the need to find the right adopters for sibling groups. Caritas Care

Nationally 61% of children waiting for Adoption are in sibling groups and right here in the Northwest it’s higher still at 64%.

Outstanding Independent Adoption Agency Caritas Care is looking for families in the Lancashire and Greater Manchester areas to help these children to stay together and find their forever home.

This week Caritas Care are profiling two sisters aged 7 and 6 to help them find their forever family. Here’s a little about them…

The sisters are part of a large sibling group. The eldest of the two children is an affectionate, caring and thoughtful child.

The youngest is a fun, loving, energetic child with a beaming smile which lights up her face. She is described as a “giggly and an affectionate child who is eager to please”.

Caritas Care are ideally looking for a two parent family, would consider single applicants with a robust support network….
• Fun, loving energetic parents
• Child care experience in a personal or professional setting
• Kind, caring, thoughtful parents who can set boundaries
• Emotionally resilient
• Parent at home for the first 12 months
• Willingness to learn therapeutic ways of parenting
• Open to promoting difference and diversity
