Have You Always Wanted To Learn How To Use The Internet?

13 Jun 2013 - 17:04 by michelle.foster

Go-ON Manchester‘s aim is to help and support Manchester residents to make the most of the web. Whether you’re using email or searching the internet to pay your bills or do shopping, we can introduce you to the online world and help you to take advantage of the benefits this brings.

By people having the chance to go online you can improve wellbeing, quality of life and employment opportunities.

If you're not currently online you could be missing out on:
Keeping in touch with friends and family, with Facebook or Skype
Paying your bills online, getting the best deals, comparing prices and saving money
Helping your kids with homework using the computer and internet
Researching your family tree
Applying for jobs online

For help and support:
• Visit your local library – they will be happy to help
• Call Manchester Adult Education Service (MAES) on 0161 234 5640 and ask about Go On Manchester and other ICT courses
• Look out for Go-ON Manchester events in your area
• Visit www.go-on-manchester.com for help and support

Many courses are free and MAES will also be able to tell you about all the other courses that they run across the city.
