Have your say – Review of GM Children's hospital services

15 Jun 2018 - 10:06 by michelle.foster

A Greater Manchester hospital service review is currently taking place involving a team of doctors, patients and other healthcare staff from across the region to make children’s health care services the best they can be and to make them sustainable and affordable for the future. Greater Manchester Combined Authority and NHS Greater Manchester

To help the team design future children’s services in Greater Manchester, they would be grateful if you would consider taking part in a brief survey. This is to find out how you feel about the hospital-based children’s services that you as a parent/guardian have used in Greater Manchester, and to ask how you think they can be improved. Your opinions will help identify what is important to parents/guardians and patients and what needs to be considered from your perspective in the design of any future services.

A survey has also been specifically designed aimed at engaging children and young people. Young people have helped construct the questions, style and format.

It will take about ten minutes to complete the survey and it is completely anonymous; you will not be identifiable in any way.

Surveys:
For Adults: www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/GMHospitalParents

For Children and Young People: www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/HospitalGMCYP

The survey will be open to complete until 8am on 9 July 2018.

If you would like a paper version of the survey or require an alternative format/language or have any questions about the survey, contact Usman Nawaz or Audrey Abbott at the NHS Transformation Unit on 0161 967 0300.
