Funded by the Department of Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) and run in partnership with The Foundation for Social Improvement (FSI) and The Association of Chairs, this programme will take digital marketing strategy training workshops outside of the country’s main media hubs, to charity leaders across 10 regions in England.

Sessions will equip those in leadership positions with vital and future facing digital skills to enhance digital engagement with service users, local government, funders, local community, volunteers and businesses.

The workshops form part of Media Trust’s UK-wide Digital Skills Programme which launched in June 2018. The programme aims to help charities and community groups access vital digital training and mentoring, in order to strengthen their communications capabilities and get their voices heard in a rapidly evolving digital world.

Free digital marketing workshops designed for charity leaders
Media Trust are running 10 one-day workshops in March 2019 across England. The workshops have been specially designed for charity leaders including CEO’s, Trustees, Chair’s and Senior Managers, giving attendees the knowledge, confidence and practical skills to drive forward an impactful and effective digital communications strategy that engages audiences and aligns with organisational strategy.

The sessions will combine a theoretical overview of digital marketing, practical exercises and group activities, alongside peer-to-peer learning and sharing.
