New Digital Leadership Fund now open for applications

23 Nov 2018 - 10:53 by michelle.foster

The Office for Civil Society has launched a Digital Leadership Fund, with the goal of improving skills among charity Chief Executives, trustees and senior teams, by scaling a number of existing digital leadership training programmes that already support leaders in the social sector. gov.uk

The aim of this fund is to increase the impact of existing training programmes, be that through increasing the number of training places offered, by improving the quality or delivery method of the training, or by making it free for charities to participate. The aim is for trainees to develop an understanding of how technology could make it easier for their charity to achieve their mission - from digital fundraising, to managing volunteers online, to re-thinking service delivery. Leaders that take part should then feel confident that they are equipped with the tools and knowledge they need to embed digital change in their organisations.

Applications should be between £10,000 and £170,000.
