People’s Postcode Trust – 2018 round 2 grants now open

People’s Postcode Trust funds projects in Great Britain. These projects can be up to 12 months in length. People’s Postcode Trust will consider projects which focus on: People's Postcode Trust
• Employability development programmes
• The promotion of human rights through combatting discrimination
• Poverty prevention

Since 2009, People’s Postcode Trust has awarded more than £14m to over 1800 projects across Great Britain. In 2017 People’s Postcode Trust awarded just over £3.2 million to over 230 organisations working to make a difference for people across the country.

Between 1 August and 15 August charities and community groups can apply for grants of between £500 and £20,000 from the fund.

To apply you must be a:
• Registered charity (requires a number from OSCR or Charity Commission)
• SCIO
• Constituted voluntary or community group
• Social enterprise
• Community interest company (CIC)
• Not-for-profit organisation
• Local club or other constituted community group

Your organisation must be a registered charity if you wish to apply for over £2,000.

There is a two stage application process.

Stage 1 – Expression of Interest (EOI) requires basic details about your organisation, as well as a very short summary (500 characters) of the project you are proposing.
Stage 2 – Full Application, this stage requires applicants to provide more detail on both their organisation and the project, for example: core aims and activities of the organisation; outlining the project need and main activities; and a full breakdown of the total project costs.

The Round 2 dates for 2018 funding are:
Stage 1: 1 August - 15 August
Stage 2: 5 September - 19 September
