Quality standards for male victims of domestic abuse

quality standardSurvivors Manchester and its partners launched the male quality standards for Sexual Violence services at the House of Lords, hosted by the then Victims Commissioner Baroness Newlove. Since then, over 40 organisations (both Voluntary Sector and Statutory Sector) across the UK have met accreditation status and the Male Survivors Partnership continues to work with the Ministry of Justice and Home Office (who were original funders of the work) to support organisations to become accredited.

Last week, Mankind Initiative, who have founded the Male Domestic Abuse Network (MDAN) UK have launched the Male Quality Standards for Domestic Abuse, which have been developed with Home Office funds and in conjunction with Hestia and over the next few weeks will be distributed throughout the UK and with commissioners.
