ReachOut Street Collection

On Saturday 27 February ReachOut are taking to the streets of Manchester to raise money for ReachOut to help end educational inequality through providing young people with mentors to support their academic and personal needs.

How will the day work?
Time and date: 9am – 2pm or 2pm – 6pm or all day on Saturday 27 February
Location: Manchester City Centre, Oxford Road, Wilmslow Road
Dress code: Warm, comfortable clothes. Fancy dress is optional!

On the day itself you will be met by a ReachOut representative and provided with a collection bucket, an information booklet with details about ReachOut and any training you might need. You will then be allocated a spot to collect on either in Manchester City Centre or on Oxford/Wilmslow Road where you will collect for the duration of your slot.

Who are ReachOut?
ReachOut is a mentoring charity working with children in disadvantaged communities in Manchester and London to raise aspirations and help them grow in character and competence.

ReachOut improve self-confidence and develop numeracy, literacy, communication and memory skills whilst reinforcing our core values of fairness, self-control, good judgement and staying power.

ReachOut do this through one-to-one mentoring with positive role models and team activities to promote leadership, trust and responsibility.
