Small Charity Week 2019 – Big Advice Day

12 Apr 2019 - 11:41 by michelle.foster

Small Charity Week 2019 is taking place on 17 June - 22 June. Small Charity Week celebrates and raises awareness of the essential work of the UK’s small charity sector who make an invaluable contribution to the lives of millions of individuals, communities and causes across the UK and the rest of the world. Small Charity Week 2019

Big Advice Day on 18 June, will offer expert advice for any small charity needing support on any charity topic.

Advisors signed up so far, include all-rounder experts from the Wellcome Trust, online fundraising specialists at our partner organisation Localgiving, founder of the Charity Excellence Framework and governance guru Ian Mclintock and a representative of national law firm Shoosmiths, plus fundraisers with decades of experience, and professionals working across the sector in communications, HR, finance, GDPR and strategy.

How the day works:
1. You tell the FSi the support you need
2. You’re matched with an advisor and provide them with a full brief so they can prepare in advance
3. You will be provided with an hour of dedicated time with your advisor either face-to-face or on the phone / via Skype on the day
4. If attending on the day you can also join a range of free workshops to maximise your time out of the office

This is your small charity's chance to get access to the experts you want to engage with. Just let the FSI know who you want to speak to and they will do their best to match you to the right people. Tweet @SCWeek2019 with who you want to see there.
