Sponsor the Manchester Day Parade

Following last year's event which exceeded all expectations attracting over 50,000 spectators and 2,400 participants Manchester Day is fast becoming one of the North West's flagship summer events.

Plans for this year's Manchester Day are well underway - the date is confirmed as Sunday 22 June and the theme is 'Going Global' reflecting ideas around communications, travel and diversity as well as Manchester’s international connections and the city's position as an innovative world leader. Manchester Day 2014 is also going to be bigger and better!

Whilst the parade will still be the centre piece of the day, 2014 will also see three or four of the city's squares themed and animated with amazing installations, site decoration, and performance as well as food and drink.

This year the organisers are looking for more sponsors to join in celebrating all that is great about Manchester and they are looking for organisations interested in supporting this spectacular event as an official sponsor.

Principal Sponsor (£40k)
The exclusive opportunity for one organisation to partner the City as principal sponsor to the Manchester Day Parade and take advantage of the closest potential association with the North West's biggest and most spectacular community led parade.

Gold Sponsors (£25k)
You receive first tier exposure on all marketing material including logos on outdoor poster sites and lamppost banners, radio mentions, Manchester Evening News and PR exposure as well as space in programme leaflets and event guides worth over £150k in terms of marketing exposure. Opportunities for activation and participation are also available.

Silver Sponsors (£15k)
Significant logo exposure and mentions throughout the marketing collateral worth £70k.

Bronze Sponsors (£5k)
You receive a logo presence on a Manchester Day leaflet (quantity: 60k), the event programme (quantity: 20k) and you will be mentioned as part of the Manchester Evening News Advertorial as well as presence on the website and link through opportunities worth £27k as a media package.

There are many ways you can take a more active role within the event itself dependant on the level of your involvement. Maybe working alongside a community group or taking part yourselves as an organisation. There are also opportunities in the squares and along the route for experiential marketing or your brand can simply express creatively - this year's theme, 'Going Global', works very well in so many ways. You don't have to do anything if you prefer, you can just be credited as a sponsor and you will be invited to join the VIP area for the event itself alongside Sir Richard and Sir Howard.
