Chorlton Youth Project is a long standing Youth charity based in South Manchester, with great opportunities for those with an interest in Youth Work.
The opportunities available at Chorlton Youth Project are:
Volunteer Youth Workers – five opportunities
Volunteer Web-designer – one opportunity
Management Committee Members – five opportunities
Volunteer Youth Workers are currently needed, for a minimum of one evening or afternoon session per week, which would be 3-4 hours long. Volunteers are asked to make a commitment of at least 6 months. The door is open to people with talents that they would like to share or teach the young people and to those who would like to chat with and support young people in their chosen activities.
Chorlton Youth Project are also developing their website and are looking for someone with ability in website design to help them with this.
The Chorlton Youth Project Management Committee are also looking for new members so if you have skills in Business, Marketing, Volunteering or experience in trusteeship; and would like to help them to support young people in South Manchester they would be interested to hear from you. Chorlton Youth Project would like a commitment of minimum one year, which would involve a 2-3 hour meeting every six weeks.
