Walk and ride for women

International Women's Day is on 8 March, join in these activities across the city and celebrate Manchester Women.

Walk for Women
Manchester’s Walk for Women is back on Saturday 9 March 2024. The walk will begin at Mount Street, behind Central Library, at 12pm and walking through Albert Square and down Deansgate to Manchester Cathedral.

Come together with your community to share your passion for equality and creating opportunities for Manchester women this International Women’s Day. Find out more here

Rides for Women
If cycling is more your thing, Station South and Bee Pedal Ready are supporting #RidesForWomenMCR, taking place on 3 March 2024.

Join in for a ride to remember! Choose your starting point and ride together with others to celebrate wheeling women across Manchester.

Riders will gather at 11am at St Peters Square (M1 5AN), finishing at Victoria Baths (M13 0FE) at 3pm. Register your place on the ride here
