Wythenshawe Games Corporate Games Day is in support of Wythenshawe Charity, Genesis Breast Cancer Prevention. The event takes place on 29 July 2015 and will provide a fantastic day out for corporate teams.
Throughout the day, teams of 10 will compete for the coveted Wythenshawe Games Corporate Day Trophy.
Each team takes part in four sports; softball, cricket, dodgeball and old fashioned school sports (including Tug of War). The day will end with a grand finale ‘It’s a Knock Out’ competition at the end of the day. No previous experience of any of the sports is required, just a desire to have a go and raise money for charity.
The day starts at 9am with registration, followed by a mass warm-up at 9.30am, sports begin at 10am and a picnic lunch will be provided for each team at 12noon.
A trophy will be awarded to the winning team with gold, silver and bronze medals for members of the top three teams. There will also be prizes for the best themed team and the fairplay team.
Team entry costs £500 and includes all activities and lunch for all team members and participants are encouraged each to raise at least £30 each in sponsorship for taking part in the day.
All money raised will go to the nominated charity, Genesis Breast Cancer Prevention.
