Comic Relief have launched a £1.5 million fund to engage older people aged 65 and over from ‘harder to reach’ groups to get involved in opportunities which use their skills, knowledge and experience to contribute to their communities. Comic Relief are looking for proposals which put older people at the centre of the work, designing and developing activities or opportunities which meet their needs, interests and priorities. 
The Dream Fund was created to encourage charities to collaborate and apply for their dream project, the project they have always wanted to deliver but never had the opportunity to do so. 
The Dream Fund supports charities to develop innovative solutions to society’s most challenging problems. Applications that can score highly in their originality, ambition and collaborative nature stand the highest chances of being successful.
As part of its continued commitment to reducing and ultimately preventing Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) Manchester City Council is aiming to provide investment in 2017/18 through the Directorate for Children and Families to Voluntary, Community Sector, not for profit and faith sector organisations to further address this issue. 
The Heart of Experian Charity Fund was set up to help small groups and organisations which are not often heard but do some great work at grassroots level. The Heart of Experian Charity Fund admires these smaller groups for their passion and determination to make a difference and by providing some funding, to help these groups become sustainable or expand their work. 
The Small Charities Challenge Fund (SCCF) will support Britain’s small not-for-profit groups to scale-up and increase the reach and efficiency of their projects. 
This is a new challenge fund designed to strengthen grassroots development organisations working with the poor, vulnerable and most marginalised.
Funding is available to help arts and culture organisations build their fundraising capacity so they can attract more private giving to the sector.
