Persimmon Homes is delighted to be joining forces with Team GB - the British Olympic Association - to give away over £1 million to help children in England, Wales and Scotland.
The Foundation provides grants to officially recognised charitable organisations within the United Kingdom only in respect of: 
The Bright Ideas Fund supports new community business ideas through the start-up and planning stages with tailored business support, to the implementation stage with grants of up to £15,000. 
A new £7 million partnership social investment loan fund. The Heritage Impact Fund (HIF) offers tailored finance for charities, social enterprises and community businesses across the UK to develop sustainable heritage at the very heart of vibrant local economies. 
Are you committed to helping people in need or improving the environment? This programme has helped almost 2,000 people like you to start up and scale social enterprises, charities, community projects and impact-led organisations.
This year, the programme will support a further 260 people across the UK with:
• A learning programme
• A grant (£1,000 – £7,000)
• Mentoring
• A supportive community
There is no cost to you at any point.
The Manchester Relief in Need, Children's Relief in Need and Manchester District Nursing Institution funds are to help Manchester-based third sector groups who are working with individuals and families in need.
Grow Wild are offering anyone aged 14-25 the chance to apply for £500 to lead a project that celebrates UK native wildflowers and fungi in exciting and engaging ways. 
The Waitrose and Partners Plan Plastic: The Million Pound Challenge aims to cut plastic pollution in the UK, reducing the amount of unnecessary plastic used and by tackling littered plastic. The fund will give grants between £150,000 to £300,000 to innovative projects that rethink how we all use and dispose of plastic. 
Local charities and good causes can apply for a share of over £3 million, raised by the players of People’s Postcode Lottery. Applications are close on 20 February, and can be for any sum between £500 and £20,000.
The money is available through People’s Postcode Trust, Postcode Community Trust, and Postcode Local Trust. Each one supports projects focused on specific themes:
