The NSPCC learning hub is for voluntary, community and social enterprise sector organisations and has a wide range of guidance and resources for Safeguarding Children.

NSPCC have a free online safeguarding tool which is designed to help you assess what you're already doing well, and what you need to improve to make sure all the children who come into contact with your organisation are protected. You can find guidance on writing safeguarding policies and procedures on their website here

For advice on Safeguarding Adults the Ann Craft Trust have a host of resources available to assist you in achieving best practice in safeguarding adults, including a checklist which is useful for individuals and small groups.

Greater Manchester Campaign Against Sexual Exploitation
Greater Manchester Campaign Against Sexual Exploitation (GMCASE) is a non-formal consortium of statutory agencies, not-for-profit, charities and community groups who have a collective aim of working across the Greater Manchester conurbation to tackle the issue of sexual exploitation of children and young people. The membership of GMCASE is be open to any organisation (Company Ltd by Guarantee, Registered Charity, Community Interest Company, Academic Institution, NHS or NHS affiliated, or Statutory entity such as Police or Local Authority) in Greater Manchester whose primary beneficiaries are: young people (under 25), victims/survivors of sexual abuse, rape or sexual exploitation Click here for more information

Gypsy, Roma and Traveller children - child sexual exploitation resources: Helping communities keep young people safe
As part of an initiative in West Yorkshire, The Children’s Society has been looking at how Gypsy, Roma and Traveller communities can keep their young people safe from child sexual exploitation. As a result of this, a range of resources were produced to support communities and professionals and carers working with them. These included an animation which was the idea of a group of young people working on the project; an accompanying workbook; and some posters and leaflets translated into the main community languages of Romanian and Slovak.
