The course takes place over 6 sessions of 2.5 hours per session and aims to help people with long-term physical conditions better manage their emotional wellbeing. Manchester Mind will cover a range of tools and skills including mood and stress management techniques, relaxation skills (participants get a free CD of meditations and relaxations) and offer a friendly and safe space for people to share and support each other.
The course takes place on Wednesday afternoons at the Zion Centre, 339 Stretford Road, Hulme, M15 4ZY.
Places are free, but you have to register to attend to keep groups small and friendly.
