"Your record keeping is being scrutinised"
Aimed at staff working in healthcare who could one day face being summonsed as a witness in court this workshop will help your staff find out how they can protect themselves in their reporting and recording at work.
Our In the Dock workshop is designed to help staff understand what would be required if they need to attend court and how to improve practice so that a court appearance is less intimidating.
Using real life scenarios, expert witnesses and solicitors will lead you through the process and highlight areas you can improve and share good practice in. Part of the day will involve working on a project where you will appear in court in front of a judge and jury.
- When do people have to appear in court?
- What’s it like to be in court?
- Why do you have to be there?
- What catches us out?
- How do we do it right?!
- Recording and Reporting.
