Description of opportunity:
Irish Community Centre are looking for volunteer drivers to help deliver 400 food packages to their service users and volunteers in Manchester. Volunteers are needed on Wednesday afternoons, after 2pm.
You will meet up at an agreed location in Levenshulme, before being handed the packages for distribution, and a list of addresses across Manchester. You will be expected to leave the package at the door/the gate in order to adher to social distancing guidelines.
Volunteers will be expected to:
- Have a clean, valid UK driving licence
- Be able to present proof of ID
- Have a valid DBS check
- Take part in a short induction with Irish Community Care
- Carry out action on behalf of Irish Community Care in line with government Covid-19 guidance.
