Description of opportunity:

 

Black Autism Manchester is a community group for black women with presumed or diagnosed autism. The group is to create a safe space to empower and encourage members to share their lived experiences, embrace their neurodiversity as a community, and build a support network. Black Autism Manchester encourage individuals from diverse backgrounds including those with autism, to apply. Black Autism Manchester is a safe space for black women who have or are suspected to have autism.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Events Officer to organise and execute events that promote awareness and support for autism within the Black community in Manchester

Responsibilities include:

-        Plan, organise, and execute events

-        Collaborate with partners and sponsors

-        Coordinate logistics and manage event budgets

-        Promote events through various channels including our social media and       news letters.

-        Evaluate and analyse the success of events
