How storytelling can help your fundraising

Stories stir the imagination and connect people and organisations to each other. They are a powerful tool to increase the effectiveness of your fundraising. If you would like to build on your existing skills and think about new ways to tell stories, this course is for you.

This course is aimed at anyone in a Manchester voluntary and community sector group who would like to increase their skills and use of storytelling in their fundraising work. Join us to discuss how to tell the stories of your service users, volunteers or your organisation in ways that are more powerful and engaging.

• Discuss a range of storytelling methods and look at great examples for inspiration
• Set yourself a story challenge!

• Review your story including feedback from other participants
• Responsible storytelling - what do we need to think about?

• Plan your future stories
