The Greater Manchester Active Neighbourhoods project team invites advocates of Active Neighbourhoods projects across Greater Manchester to come together.
The team will be holding bi-monthly online Advocates Workshops. The team will be working with you to share knowledge about Active Neighbourhoods and discuss ways local advocates can support their local schemes and spread the benefits that an Active Neighbourhood project can bring. The team will share knowledge to ensure that outreach is grounded in evidence and de-bunk myths.
As an Advocate, you can get involved in many different ways. It could be as simple as talking to neighbours and friends about the benefits of Active Neighbourhoods, to supporting workshops and pop ups, to campaigning for further change.
