statisticinas for societyStatisticians for Society connects small charitable organisations with volunteer statisticians. It aims to provide organisations with expert help to collect, analyse and present data. It was set up by the Royal Statistical Society (RSS) to enable its members to donate their time and skills to good causes.

Who can request support?
Any third sector organisation (charities, social enterprises, community interest groups etc.) based in the UK with an annual income of less than £1 million.

Why should organisations get involved?

  • Access support that enables organisations to use data and evidence for decision making
  • An opportunity to grow your network and build a long-term connection with a statistician
  • A chance to build your knowledge in the area of statistics
  • Statisticians for Society is a pro bono service funded by the National Lottery, so you don’t pay anything
