Macc Christmas and New Year closure
Macc Christmas and New Year closure

We are going to take the opportunity over the holiday season to close Macc at 4pm on 23rd December and we will reopen on 2nd January 2025.

We know that many of our friends and colleagues in the local VCSE sector will be working harder than ever over Christmas providing practical support and help across the city.

Macc’s team have put in place a rota to respond to emergency enquiries. If you have an urgent problem that you think Macc can help with, you can contact us during the Christmas period via email: christmas@macc.org.uk or telephone 0333 321 3021 and leave a message. This will be regularly monitored by members of Macc’s management team.

GMCVO
Statement on the closure of GMCVO

We are sad to learn of the decision by GMCVO’s Trustees to close the organisation. We know that this will have come at the end of a long period of review, analysis and soul-searching before reaching this conclusion and its painful consequences. GMCVO has been a pioneer in exploring ways to build resources in communities and we must not lose sight of the potential to transform our economy and the places we live in. The voluntary, community, and social enterprise (VCSE) sector remains a vital part of this vision and we and our partners across Greater Manchester will continue to support this work.
