GM BAME Network and GMCVO have launched another round of grants. The grants are for small GM BAME led VCSE organisations affected by the Covid-19 pandemic in order to respond to the needs of BAME communities.
Grants are available for GM BAME led VCSE organisations to focus on emergency needs within BAME communities. The grants will fund new activities and services as well as the additional costs of adapting existing services due to Covid-19. The grants will also help counter the loss of fundraising income directly caused by the pandemic.
Micro grants of £50-£1,000 are available, with a short, online application form and decisions being made within three weeks of application. These are available to GM BAME-led organisations with an income of less than £20,000.
Small Grants of £1,000-£5,000 are available to GM BAME led organisations with an income of less than £50,000. This is a competitive round with a closing date of 16 February 2021, 4pm.
Organisations who have previously received a grant are eligible to apply for a new grant in the second round.
GM BAME Network and GMCVO are holding this meet the Funder event for groups to hear more about the grant including changes to eligibility.
During the webinar there will be a presentation about the grants and opportunity to ask questions.
Please note, this event will be recorded for wider sharing for any groups and organisations unable to attend on the day.
