Juggle, dance, create! Circus at home

Date & Time of Event:
20 April, 2021 - 13:30 to 14:15

Following the publication of No Going Back - Gorton and Levenshulme in March, Macc has organised a series of wellbeing events for the Manchester VCSE sector. These events are a chance for staff and volunteers to come together and have some fun!

This Circus at home session will be a fun look at the basics of object balancing and object manipulation or juggling. There is no agenda or Powerpoint slides - just the chance to get together! THIS IS THE REARRANGED DATE FROM MARCH.

The Circus House CIC is nearly 10 years young! They are a social circus in central Manchester. They are passionate about using circus as a tool to build resilient members of communities. From youth circus sessions including preforming in shows and going on trips to adult weekly fitness circus or therapeutic circus sessions. They pride ourselves on having compassionate teachers and a welcoming community.

There are no specialist equipment needed for this session but you will need a cheap 5p plastic bag, an A4 sheet of paper, balled up socks, tennis or other balls or round fruits or veg. You will need a bit of space for the session. You will be standing or sitting, there is no need for a mat as we will not be lying down.

This event is only for Manchester voluntary sector staff and volunteers. Book your free place now
