Community Engagement & Development Worker (Healthy Hearts)
Part time – 28 hours per week (job share will be considered)
Fixed Term contract – Funded until March 2027
Location - Manchester
Salary - NJC SCP 12–22, £28,598 to £33,699 per annum (pro rata)
Starting salary dependent on experience and skills
BHA for Equality is a leading health equality charity that challenges health inequalities and supports individuals, families & communities to improve their health & well-being. We are currently seeking to recruit a Community Engagement & Development Worker:
This role has responsibility for delivering community engagement initiatives and health education/promotion activities for our Healthy Hearts Project working across North Manchester. The post holder will lead on testing for cardiovascular risk factors and should have experience of community engagement, delivering one-to-one advice on health and group education sessions.
