Manchester Roots Project is a group of individuals who work together to create a space where people seeking asylum can use their voices as fellow Mancunians.
The group leads the way for others, by putting down their roots in our city in a meaningful way that allows them to be seen and heard as more than ‘asylum seekers’.
Our aim is to create a transformational project that builds a group of shared leadership, where people seeking asylum hold the power and decide the future of both the project and their own lives.
Fortnightly workshops where we work as a group to develop a new project ran by asylum seekers for asylum seekers.
