Northmoor Community Association is seeking a new trustee to join their friendly, dynamic and committed board and help broaden its experience and knowledge as we continue to provide essential services to the community.

We are open to all candidates who have a range of skills, knowledge and backgrounds, however at this time we are particularly looking for people with a knowledge of HR, Safeguarding, Youth Work and Business Development

What’s in it for the volunteer?
We are a learning organisation whose main objective is to meet the needs of the community in Longsight. You will join a collaborative and open team and contribute with your skills and experience to keep our high standards of service and commitment to our clients. We have previously been awarded PQASSO Level 1 (Now known as Trusted Charity) and currently hold the Investing in Volunteers quality standard which are great achievements for a small organisation such as ourselves.
Travel and out-of-pocket expenses are paid to you.
Time commitment and location
The Board meets 6 times a year for 1.5 hours in the evening (6.30pm-8pm) and for one AGM. Meetings are held at the organisation’s premises: 95-97 Northmoor Road, Longsight, Manchester, M12 5RT with an option to join using Teams.
Committee Sub-Groups meet every few months depending on the group; these are mainly conducted on Teams.
