The Greater Manchester Disabled People’s Panel (GMDPP) co-produced a report with GM NHS Health and Social Care Partnership on Mental Health Wellbeing and Disability. This then led to a series of strategic grants being administered by GMCVO (Greater Manchester Centre for Voluntary Organisation). But The Greater Manchester Disabled People’s Panel also said there needed to be easier to apply for small grants for community groups doing vital work but who are often not part of the established bureaucratic funding culture of the third sector. The Greater Manchester Disabled People’s Panel are now launching this small grants fund.
