How to get involved in the election – for women in England

Date & Time of Training:
5 April, 2021 - 19:30 to 21:00
Venue:
Online

On 6 May elections across England will be taking place for Locals Councils, Regional Mayors, London Mayor and Assembly members and Police and Crime Commissioners.  How to get involved in the Election in England, is a workshop for women who would like more information about how they can get involved practically in these upcoming elections, supporting candidates and ensuring women’s voices are heard through the campaigns.

As campaigning moves online there are plenty of opportunities for women to get involved from the comfort of your own home.  This workshop is a space for you to learn more about everything that happens in an election campaign and the various ways that you can get involved as an active citizen.  Hustings are an excellent opportunity to challenge all of the candidates in your area about the issues that are important to you. The workshop will explain how it all works and empower you to participate. By logging in and raising questions you can shift the narrative of politics in your area.

This is a women only event.
