Description of opportunity:

Community Garden Volunteers needed to help to develop a community garden into a functional and usable space for everyone in different ways and provide a visually stimulating and fragrant interest all year round.

One Manchester are looking for enthusiastic people to help expand the activities and diversity of the garden and to ensure its future sustainability, as a community run garden space.

Community garden volunteers will meet on the below specified time and dates and will be supported by an experienced horticulturalist.

 

  • Mon 7th, 14th, 28th  June
  • Mon 5th July

10am to 12pm

The events take place at Aquarius Community Centre in Hulme.

  • Ability to accept other people’s opinions without judgement
  • Ability to work within a specified time frame and to complete tasks
  • Are interested in developing skill and knowledge of gardening
  • Are committed and reliable

Are flexible and able to take direction
