When emergencies strike, we act to ensure to save lives and protect the vulnerable. When the emergency is over, we stay and help restore lives.
 

Here at Action For Humanity we have an exciting opportunity for a Volunteer Translator to join our team based in Salford, Greater Manchester. You will join us on a part-time basis over 2-3 days per week. As this is a volunteer role it will be unpaid but you will be able to claim back reasonable expenses i.e. food, travel.

As a Volunteer Translator, you will assist the media and marketing team in ensuring all communications in the Arabic language adheres to the Charity’s branding guidelines and corporate identity.

Key duties and responsibilities:

• Translating Videos and scripts from Arabic to English

• Excellent written and spoken English
• Excellent written and spoken Arabic
• An understanding of humanitarian sector
• Good attention to detail, ensuring consistency, accuracy and precision
