Expressions of interest for Personal Health Budget (PHB) Support Planning  and Brokerage | Manchester Community Central

To support the increase in demand for COVID-19 vaccinations and booster jabs, we are in need of more volunteer marshals at sites across the city.

This is an opportunity for you to volunteer across the city and in local neighbourhoods supporting the COVID-19 vaccination sites, gain new skills, make new friends and be part of the incredible Manchester COVID-19 journey.

The marshals will:

  • Direct patients around vaccination delivery site, direct to pods, direct to waiting area, direct to exit
  • Support traffic flow in car park
  • Hand out masks at entrance

 

Other things you need to know 

  • You must be over the age of 18 to support at a vaccination site
  • All necessary health and safety precautions and resources are in place for everybody supporting and visiting vaccination sites (risk assessment, PPE etc.)
  • Relevant training and onsite briefing is provided to all volunteers before, during and after their shift or session
  • Expenses for travel and subsistence (food, drink etc.) are provided to all volunteers 

 

Vaccination sites that require volunteers are:

  • Newton Heath Health Centre
  • Manchester Town Hall
  • The Vallance Centre
  • Wythenshawe Forum
  • The Grange Community Resource Centre
  • Jain Centre
