The Widows Empowerment Trust is a charity striving to promote social inclusion in the lives of widows, widowers & anyone that has experienced bereavement in Greater Manchester.
 
We are looking for a volunteer project manager to join our team in Monsall. 
 
We are looking for a volunteer who do the following:
  • Communication: Project managers spend most of their time communicating with staff, reporting progress or problems to clients, or negotiating with vendors. 
  • Leadership: The ability to lead and motivate a team is critical to progressing any project. 
  • Management: To work effectively, managing people is essential.
  • A project manager with the right leadership qualities knows how to support their team throughout the entire project, set clear expectations, motivate their people while also holding them accountable, and navigate conflicting situations and personalities.
  • This means knowing how to communicate with every individual, boost their motivation and give them the confidence to stay on track and produce their best work – even under pressure.
  • Problem solving: Set the plan and guide teammates, and manage changes.
