Description of the opportunity:

Who we are:
The Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) is the charity that saves lives at sea. Our Water Safety team works with communities across Manchester to reduce incidents in and around rivers, canals, lakes, reservoirs, and the sea. We develop local Water Safety Lifesaving Plans to prevent emergencies before they happen.

What are we looking for?
We are looking for motivated leaders who can inspire and support a team of Water Safety Advisers. You don’t need to be an expert—we’ll provide training. If you’re confident, organised, and passionate about community safety, this could be the role for you.

What would you be doing as a volunteer?

  • Leading a team of Water Safety Advisers in your area

  • Driving local water safety activities and initiatives

  • Building partnerships with community groups and organisations

  • Helping to plan and deliver safety campaigns and events

Times for the opportunity:
Flexible commitment, with regular activity expected. Training is provided.
