Description of the opportunity:
Fundraising & Community Events Volunteer
We’re looking for friendly, organised volunteers to support our fundraising activities and community events across Greater Manchester. This role helps us raise vital funds, build community connections, and create welcoming spaces for the people we support.
What you’ll do:
- Support small fundraising events (stalls, raffles, sponsored activities)
- Help with set‑up, hosting, and pack‑down
- Assist with donor thank‑you and community engagement
- Help research local fundraising opportunities
- Work alongside our Project Manager and existing volunteers
What you won’t be asked to do:
- Manage money alone
- Approach people for donations directly
- Handle safeguarding concerns
- Work without support
Skills we’re looking for: Friendly, reliable, organised, and comfortable working with people from diverse backgrounds. No experience needed - full guidance provided.
Time commitment: Flexible, around 2–4 hours per week.
