Section 48 and New Cultural Grants Scheme Consultation Events

There are four consultation events taking place about the proposed closure of Section 48 and proposed criteria for a new Culture and Social Impact Fund. This is your opportunity to feedback your thoughts and to ask questions about the proposed changes to cultural funding across Greater Manchester.

Support for Tower Block Residents in Greater Manchester and nationally

Community Links ran the National Tower Blocks Network in the 1980s and 1990s, to gather and share information about the issues in tower blocks. The Network published two National Tower Blocks Directories which contained details gathered from tower blocks owners and from tenants and community groups.

One Manchester’s Financial Inclusion Conference Awards

One Manchester’s Financial Inclusion Conference will this year be hosting their first ever awards to celebrate the fantastic work being carried out across the city. The conference takes place on Wednesday 4 October 2017 in central Manchester. Financial Inclusion Awards

Grants of up to £50,000 to charities and social enterprises to improve their impact and sustainability

The IARS International Institute is delighted to be appointed as an approved provider for the Impact Management Programme, funded by the Access Foundation and Power to Change. The programme offers a total of £1.8m of funding to charities and social enterprises to help them manage their impact capabilities and diversify through access to social investment and contracts. The Queen's Award for Voluntary Service now open for applications for the 2018 awards

The Queen's Award for Voluntary Service is the highest award given to local volunteer groups across the UK to recognise outstanding work done in their own communities.
