The Bread and Butter Thing (TBBT) is a charity that makes life more affordable for people on a low income. They are currently supporting those who are having to self-isolate during the Covid-19 pandemic.
They need 30 volunteers to work at their temporary warehouse located at Trafford Park. The role will mainly consist of packing bags with food. Other duties may include replenishing stock to the packing tables or general warehouse duties.
TBBT is operating Monday to Friday- volunteers can offer to support one day or all five, they will discuss shifts with volunteers individually.
This is a short term role for the duration of the pandemic, however, there is the opportunity to continue to volunteer when the crisis is over.
In order to limit the movement of people during the Covid-19 outbreak and in line with Government guidelines we will be prioritising those who live closest to the TBBT temporary warehouse located at Trafford Park, M17 1EH - please only apply for this role if you live within a reasonable distance of this location.
